Our Story
A nearly forgotten craft, a stubborn family, and a meadow’s worth of patience.
Long before vineyards ruled, wine was made from what bloomed. The craft of flower wine slipped into the forgotten corners of history — until the Bonjean family went looking for it.
Season after season, the family refined the balance of nectar, petals, nectar and other flower parts — learning what each flower wanted to become.
When Michelin sommeliers tasted the result, they didn't believe it was possible without grapes. Eric Beaumard of Le Cinq called the structure and balance "impressive."
Today FlorVino is crafted with regional wildflower nectar, bottled in Comfort, and poured on Alamo Plaza in San Antonio — in collaboration with one of the best wineries of the Texas Hill Country.
Through the tasting room, the shows, the Wine Club and our Flower Somms, the mission stays simple: wildflowers bloom to be shared — in every state we can reach.
